Justin is a project and supply chain professional with over 30 years’ experience within the Defence Explosive Ordnance (EO) environment. Justin has a keen eye for detail with immense experience in ammunition and explosive inspections, investigations, repair, surveillance and technical report drafting.
Previously, Justin has managed a team of up to 50 personnel providing logistic support to the Australian Defence Force. This team provided technical assistance for all ammunition matters, ensured adherence to regulations, policy, facility license conditions (for storage and use of ammunition) and conducted In Service Surveillance (ISS) for conventional and Guided missiles. Justin was also responsible for the conduct of technical investigations on all EO incidents and accidents and technical oversight of ammunition in-use.
Justin has a wide arranging and diverse experience of working with Explosive Ordnance environment including counter Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Radiological) and has supported special forces and specialist search teams. As an advisor to the Royal Army of Oman Justin was responsible for all technical aspects of ammunition usage and managed, taught and evaluated a 12-month ammunition technical course for all Officers and Soldiers within Oman from the Army, Navy and Royal Guard of Oman.
